Guilty As Charged
Update to my enter a few years back New photos of my current Marshall Backline & A photo of me performing with FAST SUZY @ The Cubby Bear In Chicago (November 2008). I'm now using TWO Marshall Mode Four Heads with TWO 1960A Bottoms. The plan is to add a THIRD Mode Four, 3-1960B Cabs and one more 1960A Cab. Moving this kind of air should make me subject to "Marshall Law"! I'm guilty as charged!!!

Personal Mistress
Once in a time, i walked into my favourite musicstore, and there was she!!! The voice of God!!!; a full stack 6100LE with everything complete with it. I didn't even have to doubt to get it, and decided to trade my JCM 800 in (boohoo!, but i ain't a millionaire), and pay extra for this one. I only had to figure out how to pay my morgage, food, car ect, and how to explain my wife why we were broke now. I managed to work all out, and are happily living ever after with my 6100LE ( 532) I also have a JMP1 and a 9200 100/100 Duo Monoblock for the road, but this one is my personal mistress!

Perfect Set-Up
this is a pic of my current gig rig, It consists of an 07 JVM and an 07 Vintage Modern Both amps I heard and fell in love with at NAMM 07 and had to have, and with the assistance of Angelo Gallo of Gallo's Guitars in Farmingville, NY, we got my perfect set up! I am currently running them in a wet dry set up, with a lexi mp200
providing a nice 80s echo/chorus patch thru the JVM, and the VM giving me Mucho Plexi goodness for the dry signal. incidentally, Prior to these amps, my rig was a HEAVILY modded 73 superbass and a dsl, and I have been a Marshall man since 1980.

Wall Of Sound
Hi,
This is Clammy, bass player for Exciter in Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA, and lifelong Marshall player!
My current rig that you can see in these pictures is made up of a 1973 Super Bass head into a model 1520 JCM800 Bass Series 4x12 cab reloaded with Celestion bass speakers, and a model 1551JCM800 Bass Series 2x15 cab (I re-grilled the cabs with urban camouflage cloth). This setup is what I used to record the bass on Exciter's latest CD: Thrash Speed Burn. My sound is heavily influenced by that of Lemmy of Motorhead.
I started off as a guitarist about 23 years ago, and my first amp, which I still own, was a 1986 Marshall model 5010 30W Master Lead combo. I switched to bass about 11 years ago, but I still play guitar and my guitar rig is my 1977 model 1986 50W valve head into JCM800 1982A and early 80s model 1984B cabs, and my 1974 Super Bass into JCM800 1960A and JCM900 1960B cabs. I also use a Shredmaster for distortion. Talk about a WALL OF SOUND!! The bass heads add so much depth to my guitar tone. I LOVE it!
I have never used any amps other than Marshall, and I can't see a time when I won't be using Marshalls! They definitely have the tone for me!
Thanks Jim, for making the best amps out there!
Cheers!

Original Stacks
Here I am pictured in Australia in 1970 with my circa 1969 100 watt plexi and stack. This was an immaculate amp complete with Marshall vinyl covers. But of particular interest was the inside of each cabinet which had in large blue ink the iconic signature of Jim Marshall. In a conversation with Jim at NAMM, LA. in 2001, he remembered the story of these cabinets, as they were initially sold to Status Quo and ended up in Australia after a tour. I purchased the rig from Jim Pye who was the Sydney, Australia, sound engineer/amp builder in the 70's and he procured them from Status Quo. According to Jim, around the late 60's he was instructing an employee who needed some help in quality control. Jim actually covered these speakers as a demonstration, the employee also covered some. Jim insisted that he must sign his work in case it came back faulty. The employee then challenged Jim to sign his boxes, so he did. I don't believe there were too many internally autogr aphed cabinets. I unfortunately sold the the rig when I moved to the USA in 1983. I have sinced moved to London and recently purchase a 1974 rig, but I still regret losing that magnificent original stack! Be interesting to know where they are today. I believe an employee of Smiths music store in North Sydney purchased them from me in 1983. I am also holding a very rare Gibson '69 Professional which I purchased around the same time. The sound of these two classic vintage instruments was simply beautiful. Fortunately I still have the guitar to go with my current '74 Marshall rig!

Dreams Really Do Come True
I finally have my Marshall. I got a JCM2000 DSL 100 after many years of dealing with other brands. I finally saved the money to buy the best amp made and I'm one happy guy. I saw Kiss play with Marshalls as well as other bands. I always loved the tone and dreamed of having one. Thanks to Marshall for producing such a great product!!

Wide Eye Panic
I use the EL34 100/100 with the JMP-1 through my Marshall cab when its time to go to war!! I'll continue to use it in time of peace as long as there is a Les Paul and some Wide Eye Panic in my veins and hands respectively.

Two In One!
I've been living in this cool and unfurnished home for almost two years. The original plan was building a nice fireplace into the corner I sit, but I could convince my Parents that the tubes of a real Marshall amplifier
also give heat, so I decided to get a nice JVM 410 Head and a 1960A Cabinet with Gibson Guitars and other fine effect pedals, hahaha. Anyway, at home, or on stage... I can't thank you enough for this great sound! Good stuff.

Perfect
This is my 2555 head and 1960A JCM900 cab. I bought it about a year and a half ago. Hard times forced me to sell my beloved JMP1/9100/1960AV set up a few years ago. This amp is as close to perfect as I could ever want it to be. The pedal is a tuner, no effects needed! Just my 94 58 Historic LP, a good cable, and the amp is all I need. I have played Marshalls exculsively for 15 years and will never own anything else. Thanks for making the best amps in the world.

Never Fails!
My JCM 900 SL-X 50 watt that I bought new in 1994 has never failed to deliver beautiful tone and amazing performance despite years of rough use in club gigs. I love it. I recommend Marshall for anyone seeking great sound and unmatched reliability.
