Players and their amps
Are you proud of your Marshall? Has it been to Hell and back yet still works? Have you taken it to strange or exotic locations? If so, we want to know about it!

Best Sound, Best Price
Half a year ago I was originally going to just get Marshall amp but the closest music store only had Cr*te, which was the same brand as my old amp. I didn't want to settle for Cr*te so week later I when to another store. I found out that Marshall amps have a cleaner sound and the best price to future ratio. I ended up getting a Marshall 30watt 30DFX amp that I use with my Barracuda strat copy. It is so loud that that I never play at max volume.

With a Little Help From My Marshall
This is my Marshall AVT 150 combo which i received for my 16th birthday along with my Gibson SG Standard. ever since i started playing guitar i wnated to own a marshall and now i can say that i do. this amp is amazing and very versatile which allows me to explore different styles of music whilst sounding good with more than a little help from my Marshall. thankyou Marshall.

Nothing Compares to Marshall.
Hi im Alex and My Bro is Richard and we play marshalls 24/7.He plays bass and i play electric.Heres just a few amps (by the way the line up is so wide that i have had to take the picture in two pieces).VBA 400 stack and a JCM 800 stack all horizontal rather than vertical. We figured that we could also hear each other better if we swapped the line up, so it works like this:(left to right)bass cab, guitar cab(with bass head on),bass cab(with guitar head on),guitar cab.And it works well.We both play metal(metallica) non stop.I own 3 Jacksons,1 Fender and 1 Faith venus acoustic.Richard owns 1 Ibanez bass guitar.(not much for him but hes getting there).Ever since i started the guitar in 2000 when i was 15 i've been using MARSHALLS.My first amp was the Marshall 10watt combo, second came the Marshall 8080 80watt combo, third came the MG 100w dfx half stack(with angled avt 4x12 cab),fourth came the marshall vs230,Fifth came the JCM 800 MKII 100w lead head from '84 (which i had signed personally by Jim Marshall him self, Thank you Jim,(with 2 Marshall 1960A and B cabs)(what a stack!!!),sixth came the JMP master volume 100w lead 2x12 combo, which i had Jim Marshall personally sign again which i'm so pleased about as its from the 70s(thanks again JIM), seventh came the JMP 1,JFX 1 and Marshall 8008 power amp, and i've just ordered the marshall el34 100/100 stereo power amp and mode four 400watt straight cab.By the way I still have the JCM 800,JMP 100w 2x12 combo,JMP 1,JFX 1, 8008 80w power amp and the 1960 angled cab.I intend to keep going.Richard has been sensible with his money and just bought the full stack VBA 400 and had it signed(Richard thanks JIM).We have both looked at different products and tryed them in shops but every time we get home we both say to each other "f**k those other amps, nothing compares to MARSHALL!!!."Thanks Jim Marshall we love your amps and always will.

Recent Purchase
This is my new Marshall MG30DFX amp.
I bought recently this amp and it has great, bright clean tones for bluesy stuff and the overdrive channel has enough gain for metal and it's great for hard rock too, my favorite effect is the chorus that sounds great with clean tone.
Keep up the good work there at Marshall

The Best Thing That Happened to Me
Dear Jim Marshall,
My name is Johnny from Melbourne, Australia. I started playing guitar back in 1992 and my first amp was a Marshall lead 12 watt with an Ibanez guitar. I fell in love with my first amp because of the Marshall logo and the nice tone that I even have now, still in mint condition. I have added to my Marshall collection since then with a JCM 900, 4100 with an A & B stack, JCM 2000, DSL 100 with an B box and an A box which is coming soon, Valvestate 102R stack with a bottom box, my little M.G 15 watt micro stack which sounds ‘out of this world’ and last but not least, my little Marshall MS-2. All plugged into Gibson Les Paul’s. What an awesome combination.
Thanks to Jim Marshall and all the team at Marshall Amplification for making the best amps in the world.
Regards,
Johnny Tsivitzis.

Son of an Amp!
My first Marshall was a 30Watt DFX... then went for the big boy AVT150 Head and an angled 4x12. It really is the loudest badass son of an amp ive played.
Thanks Marshall

Number 1 Fan
Hi,
I hope you enjoy my 6x12 stack driven by the 1959 SLPX and tamed with the 4 ohm hot plate. TSL 602 amp
is bypassed until I want "modern" diversity fed into the 1960A cab with Celestion 75's. I can wire the 1959 head into the 602 to play through its 2 (changed) Vintage 30's which have a "sound" that brings out the massive power potential of the less featured head and then flaps your nuts and blows your hair into the wind with terrific, clean, loud, gutsy / scary volume. I actually turned it off and had to take a reality check after what 100+ watts sounded like through only 2 Vintage 30's. Who needs furniture in the music room with an early '65 jazzmaster, '69 strat, '05 Ibanez JS 1200 CA screemer, Rick Turner Feathweight (a-la Buckingham), and LP Korina '58 RI at your disposal? Also shown is my Alembic Garcia Tribute and SG Standard. Beauty next to a the king of amps.
My freind got me started with the 2 heads shown on '70's AMP*G 4 x 12's, one is a 2000 1987X, the other we guess is a circa '65 model 1989. All he said was..."get a Marshall stack and never go back". So I did, and won't. Closeup on "1989" face may give readers a clue we do not have, when and why the phase switch appeared the went away just as quickly.
Peace, enjoy all your Marshall stories. This is only mine and forever gratefull to Jim and his team for designing the equipment that can make you weep or (commonly) just rip one final very loud power cord at 12 am 'cause you love it, and you can, and it makes everything better. Thank you.
Neil Keller
Reason To Play
Marshall Is the reason I play guitar. My stage rig is a Marshall MG100HDFX pluged into the speeker cab of an MG50DFX and an MG412 Cab. I used to think of Marshall for there tubes but you don't need tubes in a Marshall, you just need the Marshall name.

"All you know about me is what I sold ya, dumb f*ck,
I sold out long befor you had ever even heard my name,
I sold my soul to make a record, dip sh*t,
and then you bought one."

Flexible Friends
Pictured here are a few of my guitars and my two AVT150H's. I run one of them through a 1960B and the other through a AVT412. The flexibillity of these amps is incredible. I'm not a big fan of racks and racks of effects gear so this was the amp I selected.

Happy Customer
Hi, this is my Marshall: a Valvestate VS230R with stereo chorus. I´ve owned it for 4 years and I like alot it´s clean
sound with the chorus on. Now I´m planning to have a TSL122 and use them at the same time for overdrive and clean chorusing sounds.

The Older The Better!
Hi there Marshall.
Check these out - 1962Jag, JMP50, 100watt Superlead, JCM 800, JCM900, Artist - excellent. Marshall amps are so cool - especially the older ones. Just added a TSL100 and an MG series which sound great too.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers, Mark.
Your Life Depends On It!
Hi Jim!
This is me with the love of my life, my Marshall's! I used the Marshall JCM 800, after that the JMP-1 & a EL34 50/50 and now the TSL 100 Head and a couple of Marshall FX Pedals. They've always been on the road and are completly indestructable. Your products just kick ass and are loud as hell, please keep up the good work!
If you see me use anything else than Marshall's please shot me immediately!
A big "rock on" from Germany!
