Players and their amps
Are you proud of your Marshall? Has it been to Hell and back yet still works? Have you taken it to strange or exotic locations? If so, we want to know about it!
Email us a picture with a brief description and your pride and joy could end up featured here
Ole Reliable!
Here's my love and joy, JCM 800 2204 head with the 2 x 12" cab. I can always rely on it no matter where and when I play.

Everything, including the Kitchen!
Hello,
This picture always makes me speechless, talk amongst yourselves! My Wall of Marshalls, including the Kitchen sink, I mean Kitchen Marshall!
Thanks Jim!

Star Wars in a Marshall box
Check out this display cabinet. Look familiar? It's a 1960A cab ingeniously converted into a display cabinet by Razorlights guitar tech and Star Wars collector Guy Cowen. The cabinet houses just a fraction of Guys collection. This little lot pictured is worth well over five thousand pounds. While traveling with Razorlight Guy never misses an opportunity to go on search for more Stars Wars memorabilia. I can see a wall of Marshall display cabinets appearing in your conservatory before long Guy!!!
Marshall Amplification
Handwired Heaven
Hi,
I've been playing through Marshall Amps almost exclusively since I was 17, nearly 21 years ago starting with a 30W Masterlead 1x12" Transistor Combo. I just bought a new Handwired 1974X and matching 1974CX cabinet in October last year(2005) after waiting about 4 months for one to get into the country(Australia)! What can I say! I was more than impressed with the sound. It works(sounds, I mean) great with either my Strat or Les Paul! In fact its my favourite amp at the moment, and better than any other amp I've got or had, even my 1979 50W JMP Master Model MK2 Lead Valve head and 4x12" cabinet!(Which is still going strong, sounding good and is still in near new condition-appearance wise! apart from the cloth on the speaker cabinet fading from black to a nice light fawny colour!) I'd like to get another pair of these 1974X & CX Units sometime as they really do sound that good!......but I'm waiting in the hope that Marshall may sometime soon make a handwired "Bluesbreaker" 2x12" Combo or a Handwired JTM 45 head.....maybe even the old offset model with the 2x12" Cabinet!?

World . . . Meet Brian!
Dear Jim and the guys at Marshall,
I would like to introduce Brian to the world. Brian consists of a JCM 2000 DSL 100 head and a 1936 2x12 cab! Brian is an absolutely awesome amp, he's rather like the teenager I am, he can sound nice and squeaky clean one minute but then he has a mood swing...I have no idea what I do wrong, I only stamp on a little box called a footswitch and he blows my brains out with truck-loads of gain and an absolutely enormous bottom end!! He is the greatest gigging amp in the world too he's not too big (but one day a couple of 4x12s would be nice!) but he sounds great too, really powerful classic rock tone....perfect for what my band plays!!!
Thanks guys for making the best bloody amps in the whole damn universe!!!
Cheers
Charlie
Three Loud Stacks
Ohhhh, what a nice stack; I just love three major combos, and hand-built switches. My naeighbors are thinking of moving away, they rent, I don't. I play a 59 classic Les Paul and a 66 Gibson 335.

Pardon?
This is my and my Mode Four. Notice the camera blur because it sent the camera man airborn. I would never consider changing from Mode Four. I just want more of them. To me it's Marshall's superior amp, I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much Jim for providing audiences up and down the country with hearing difficulties. You are as important as the musicians. Thank you.

Speechless!
Here's a pix of my son.....as you can see..i've been using mg15cdr & mg15ms2 for recording & gigs too....or whatever. For gigs just mixe it proper & it will roar like hell. What ever the circumstances are.....Marshall will always rule forever! Thanks a million Jim....for this wonderful creation,invention...i'm lost of words.
Aufwiedersehen

Marshall To The Rescue!
Hello!
My name in Kris, here is a picture of my JCM 900, it's a 4100 model from the 90's and what a loud thing this is!!!.
I am at University and I play a custom Jackson Warrior equipped with Seymour Duncan SH-10 and SH-13. I like how this amp sounds glassy at higher gain levels in channel 1. I practice with the volume under level 1, in fact it's about 0.6, and it's loud enough for my housemate in the other room to complain :)
When I switch to bridge position with the channel 2 gain at 20 and volume at 7, it is brutal enough to send a tank 50000 feet into the sky! Ok, not really, but you get the idea... I live in a terraced house and I could hear my neighbours talk really loud night after night and I got fed up of not being able to sleep.
How did I solve this problem? Well I lined up my cabs along the wall and cranked the head to the max, played open strings making immense feedback and ear drum-bursting distortion which shook the floor. After a few seconds, it was silent and ever since then, I had proper sleep, knowing that my neighbours are traumatised hahahaha!!!
This amp was one of the reasons I used up my loan so quickly, but what the hell, it's definitely worth every penny!!!
Marshall forever, m/
Kris
