No Substitute!
Jim! just a quick one to say how proud i am to b part of you army, without you god knows how i'd cope! Iv been plugging into a DSL 50 for 3 years now & REFUSE to do otherwise! theres been times when iv had to use other amps at gigs & its reduced me to tears - there's no substitute for the tone of your babies! I also have a 1983 JCM 800 which is yet to be road tested but in the studio its a beast! keep up the good work - long live Jim Marshall & all his crew!

Shivers Down Your Spine!
Here is a collection of all my hard earned gear, I have been playing a long time and as a long time jimi devotee, i had to have an amp that bore his middle name. I have met jim a few times at shows and its funny how shaking hands with a plain old guy can send shivers down a 20 year-old spine! I love the sound it chucks out, If you want to make a bit of noise, you need to see the word marshall on your amps. I have a 1959slp reissue with 1960ax cab and a jcm 800 stack. it does more than the job. Jim, you are a superb guy without you, rock and roll would sound very different or should i say dull? heres to you and superb sounding guitars!

Highest Heights
Hi, this is me on stage with my baby's!!! My JCM900's i use 3 of these on stage with my band called ArcanA and the sound is amazing!!!
So thank you Jim for making wonderful amps and i will never use any other amp! I've tried many in the past and nothing lives up to or even comes close to the marshall stack sound!!! I love Marshall so much that my band website is made from a Marshall head and cap, very nicely supplied by your good team at Marshall. We did obtain permission from you before using this on our site, just to make sure you dont sue me for advertising without your permission! lol!
Also on our site we have a tech info page which tells our fans how we get the guitar sound and we big your amps up to the highest heights!!
So thanks once again!!!

Hangin' Wiv My Amps!
Hello to all my Marshall bretheran!!,'
Here we have my pride and joy. On the top is the Marshall JCM800 2203X Reissue amp. It sounds just the like the original 2203 s of yester year. I shoulds know, underneath is my baby which is a 1981 Marshall JCM800 2203 100 watt head!! I have run them side by side and used the effects loop on the 2203x and I must say these amps sound wonderful as always.
I have been playing Marshalls for many years and will always have them by my side. I also just bought the new Marshall 1959HW HAnd Wired Pleix and it is incredible as well! Now I have three incredible Marshalls to gig with. Iteach guitar as well and am always displaying and doing clinics for my students and fans in the area. They love the grit and super fast pick attack of the JCM800 2203 . Great stuff. Thank Mr. Jim Marshall. I love hangin wit my amps. And my amps are at Marshalls house!!!!

Marshall's A Keeper!
Greetings Sir Jim, and friends.
My First amp was a Marshall lead 12 many, many years ago. I was working at a guitar shop at the time the Silver Jubilees came out, and wanted one ever since I unpacked one from the Marshall boxes. Many years later I found a 2555 1/2 stack, and it is everything I could ever want in an amp. Other amp brands have come, and gone....but the Marshall is staying!

Simple But Effective
Hi
Here's a few pics of my setup: a Gibson Les Paul plugged in a Bluesbreaker reissue. Simple ? Yes, but it sounds like heaven !
Thanx Marshall for making the one and only rock'n'roll sound.

Favourite Stack!
Hi,
I just saw the Readers' Amps pg. and thought I'd submit a pix or two.
This picture is a pair of '66 JTM45s, a '67 Black Flag 50w and a S.S. rectified '67 50w (my favorite). All stacked up on top of my 100% original '68 basketweave (G12H30s), w/ 100 logo and original Revvo wheels. Since these amps are old hand-me-downs you have to take a bunch to the dance in case one goes out on you.

How many is too many?
Here are some of my older Marshalls:
The red one is a '74 MkII 50 watter
The orange one is an early ('76) toggle switch 2204 (50 watt, Master Volume)
The purple one is a PTP-wired '71 Superlead (English Market)
The fawn one is a '76 Superlead (American Market)
I like the '71 Superlead the best -- turn it up to about 6 and it has that wonderful early EVH tone that EVERYONE is trying to replicate, but can't. I've used Marshall amps for over 25 years and there really is no other amp that responds to my playing the way Marshalls do.
