Players and their amps
Are you proud of your Marshall? Has it been to Hell and back yet still works? Have you taken it to strange or exotic locations? If so, we want to know about it!
Email us a picture with a brief description and your pride and joy could end up featured here

Beef 'Em Up
Dear Marshall,
Here is a picture of my 6101 rig on the job. I do have 4 of these amps; their reliability has been poor to fair but they do sound great!. I generally have one in the shop every six months or so and each time they come back more robust as Kieth at the Amp Lab continues to beef up their roadworthyness.
Thank you,
Ray Buyco

dear Jim and Co.,
Hello I have been playing the guitar for 4 years now and have recently brought a Marshall. I love my amp because of the amazing OD and Clean sounds you can produce. One day I hope I will get a stack ( my parents might not like this) Carry on doing what you do, making great amps :))

Box Of Magic
hello Jim
Marshall rules, I just play 2 weeks guitar and the only amp I wanted to have was a marshall mine is a MG30DFX, it's a litlle box of magic, I guess it's as loud as his bigger brothers, together with my F*nder Sratocaster it sounds like 'whaaam' even my room shakes sometimes if I play guitar Thank's Jim and the Marshall Family for making this amazing amps

Marshall History
Guys had to share with you my new purchase, a little bit of Marshall History??
This is my Park 1210 which I just picked up today, the JCM 800 1960A cab lands with me in 2 days and I'm gigging her in 1 weeks time, can't wait! Those with a keen eye will note that this looks remarkably like a JCM 800 2203 but with an extra gain stage. I am sure you are right. This thing was born on the 1st Feb 1980 the year before the JCM800's were launched... so maybe I have a prototype?? Lucky old me!
Anyone who wishes to donate a suitable Park 4x12 please contact me through Marshall. No Offers? thought not!
Thanks guys,
Pete.
Kick Ass!
What's up guys!!
These are my marshalls. They both kick ass and i'll never consider trying any other amp. Marshall are simply the best amps in the world. ROCK ON!!!!!

Like Father Like Son
One of the things my father taught me, is that marshalls are the best amps in the world. He's been playing his 2203 for years, and me, I'm playing this MG30DFX. It sounds amazing!
Thanks Jim Marshall!

Can't Be Matched!
Im back again! Now that I have got rid of my 5150 head and matching cabs and my crate 3500hd and cab. I never thought I would say that I am satisfied with my amp but I am. I now have a jcm800 mark 2 1959 head with a slant and straight two jcm800 300watt cabs. While I do use a a boss sd1 (keeley mod} , Boss blues driver {franklin mod} and a boss ds1 { analogman mod}.I am old school I like it clean or distorted mainly crave late 60 & early 70 sound. The pedals help me control the the massive power output of the marshall head at lower volumes, I do this instead of using a power brake because I don’t want to damage transformers. I have used a marshall 2000 tsl and jcm 900 they don’t come close to the jcm800 mark 2 1959. I really feel bad for my friends that use other amps and especially if they bring it over to do a side by side comparison. When they leave they go home depressed not liking there amps wanting to sell them. The tone this amp puts out cant be matched, the jcm 2000 tsl and jcm900 sounded like a weak cheaper version almost like they were solid state. If you never played on mine you would probably by happy with what you have. The other thing I noticed is the other amps don’t have the power, punch, air displacement or the tone. I have been told this amp was built like the older plexi it is considerably heavier than the jcm 900. I would love to have the original owners manual or any information on this head. I wish I would of saved my money and bought this amp a long time ago.

Proud Marshall Owner

Maniacs From Milan!
Dear Jim,
we are two Marshall maniacs from Italy, Milan. As You can see early eighties-vertical input JCM800's are our obsession! Here we have a couple of mighty 2203 and one superb 2204, all original, NOS-equipped, heads. They have been used and abused for hours and hours, in diferent places, with different guitars, cabs, effects and whatsoever, but they are still here rockin'. They are simply the best, loudest, more reliable, screaming amps on the planet! (Except old JMP's and JTM45 of course...). Thank You Master,
Marco&Ivan
P.S.: sorry for the slippers!
