Perfect Partners

Hi,

I play Marshall amps now for more than 20 years. And I like them... My Gibson Les Pauls and my Marshall DSl 401 amps are perfect partners for Blues and Rock.

Tone to Die For

Tone to Die For

Well I own a lot of old amps, but when I got a lucky chance to get this Tone Monster I bought this without to hear it. At home I connect it with an old cab. - and it was the tone to die for warm, clean, with my strat until position 5, but at higher volumes increadible tone. Now i changead the cab with a handwired marshall cab with G12H celestion. I offten use an AB Box to switch with the two chanels. If you connect both the tone is unbelievable deep, warm , clean , crunch I am not an expert. I only can say I loved my old amps until this day i connect my strat into this amp. I think it has to be a 67 Super lead, because of its logo JTM . Inside : laydown trnsformer and so on, but I don`t know it exactly.
Best,

Hilmar

Never Go Back

Never Go Back

After using other amps for the past few years, I decided to have a look at Marshall. After all - they created the 'Rock Amp'. This is my AVT50X with my current rig - I won't be using anything else!

12 Barge Blues

12 Barge Blues

Dear Marshall,

Here's my 1977, JMP MkII 50w head, with a new 1936 cab,
at the Maidstone River Festival.

Nearly thirty years old, and still going strong !

(The "stage" is actually a barge floating on the river,
hence the blue painted floor...)

Cheers,

My Les Paul w/ P-90 pick-ups sound incredible. Thanks Guys, Keep up the good work!

The Rule

The Rule

Hi dear Jim and all at Marshall!

I have a rule. Take a Les Paul and a Stratocaster, and plug in a
Marshall amp. It's a great choice for rock, and blues. I love it.
Thanks for your job.
Best regards.

Now That's A Stack

Now That's A Stack

Obviously, I like Marshall gear. A lot!

Since this photo was taken, I've added to the stable not just one but two of
the 30th Anniversary 6100 heads (the blue ones), which are really great
sounding and versatile amps.

Keep up the good work, and please send my regards to Jim!

Punk's Not Dead

Punk's Not Dead

Hey guys !!!..

These amps are my band's life including mine, we bought em' like 4 months ago and they make us sound like heaven... The amp on the right is a MG 100.,, this amp is so versatile and I love the way it sounds. I ve used it on at least 4 gigs and it has never failed me.. On the other side you can see an AVT 100 which has three usefull channels and an incredible clean fully distorted sound, the valves make it sound like an all-valve amp.. it is really good, with nothing more to say i'd say these amps are the best and they wouldn't be changed for nothing !!! They are really worth what we paid for..

PUNKS NOT DEAD !!!!! thanks Jim..!!!

Shakin' the Walls

Shakin' the Walls

Hey little update,

last saturday I got my first NEW Marshall Halfstack since more than 20
years.
The Jeff Beck show sound kept ringing in my ears all the time so I went to
my local Marshall Dealer and checked a new DSL 50 head with a straight 1960
4x12. What should I say I ran to my bank to get the money and now this
brandnew Halfstack is shakin my studio walls all the time...GREAT STUFF!!!

Thanks and Cheers

Fred

From A to Z

From A to Z

Hello Marshall Amps
Here are 2 photos.
The one on my Knees from 1993 and my Current Rig A Mode Four & a 1960A Cab. I'm in a band that plays everything From Aerosmith to ZZ Top, From Motown to Metal, and the Mode Four is perfect for it. I've been a Marshall User since 1981, and I've never turned back. I came right back to Marshall. Keep making amps like the Mode Four and I will never switch.

Any Sound You Like

Any Sound You Like

I've always loved the crunch and tone of Marshall tube amps. Like the sound
Angus gets out of his SG through mountains of Marshall stacks. It took me a
long time to acquire the right stuff... but it was worth the wait! With
this stack (JCM800 4104 atop a 1960A cab), these
three guitars (Les Paul Standard, Flying V90 w/ Tony Iommi Signature pickup,
Standard Strat) ... I can get any sound I want!
Thanks Jim!
