Players and their amps
Are you proud of your Marshall? Has it been to Hell and back yet still works? Have you taken it to strange or exotic locations? If so, we want to know about it!
Email us a picture with a brief description and your pride and joy could end up featured here
A Kick In The Head
Thank you Jim Marshall! My rack really rulez! Overdrive 1 is really vintage (I love jcm 800 and plexi sound) and the overdrive 2 gain it's really like a kick in the head! Now I'm going to buy a 4x12 marshall beacuse: It's best 4x12 ever. I need it for the future tour with my band!

Satisfaction
Here is my Marshall JCM 800 model 1959 amp with two JCM 800 412 1960 cabs with my 1979 fender anerican strat and my 1983 Gibson les paul studio and a Lecixon MPX G2 processor..I lost my job and had to sell everything you see in this picture. It was like a death in the family or divorce but worse.
i have a job again and have Marshall 1987 50 watt made in 1988. its not the monster the jcm was but the tone is incredible. I still dont have Gibson or a strat but i do have a Shecter C1 classic that lets me get the the les paul & strat sounds. I am still trying to afford and aquire a marshall cab mean while the P*avey cab is loded with celestion g12T-75 black labels. i have been told there were only 250 of the JCM 1959 1988 ri made for sell in USA, I was told there were only 100 of the Marshall 1987 50 watt ri made in 1988 for sell in USA.
They will have to pry this amp from my cold dead hands, its not going anywhere. I have owned S*ldano slo, 5150, Cr*te 2500hd, f*nder twin. l*ney gh100l none of these satify like the marshall does. There can be only one! Marshall! No one else comes close!!

No Frills Rock
Hi. My name is Daniel and I'm a proud owner of a Jmp 2203 Master volume from 1978. It has a great tone and is certainly the sound I was searching for. Just plug and play! No pedals, just a guitar, a cable and a guitar pick! Rock on!

Love Marshall?
Enclosed are shots of my 1967 100w Super Trem (was on the first ELF album w/DIO!), 1969 100w Superbass Plexi (recapped by Dave Friedman), 1977 100w Super Lead (modded by Dave Friedman w/ same mod he did for Lynch), and a 1980 50w MK2 modded by Reinhold Bogner and in a genuine purple Marshall headshell! Also included are my 1987 100w Jubilee stack, my GB RI cabs and a mint slant from 73! I guess you could say I love Marshall?! Thanks a lot for making such great amps!!

Signature Sound
This is my Vintage Modern running into a 1960B cab with Celestion Vintage 30’s and my 350 Mode Four running into a Mesa 4 X 12 angle top with Celestion 30’s too. I run both amps from a Radial Big Shot switcher that puts both speaker cabs in phase, and the sound is very full and has that wonderful Marshall signature sound. I’ve been playing for 30+ years and I’ve played lots of amps but the Marshalls are the only ones that do what I want them to and make up my individual sound. I can’t do that with anything else.
The guitars are from the Gibson Custom Shop. My standard play all the time guitar is a Firebird VII. The other beauty is a Gibson EDS1275. Because the Mode Four has such deep bottom end the 12 string neck on the 1275 sounds beautiful, lots of sparkle and depth. It took me 30 years to get where I’m at with my sound today. Marshalls are most of it.
Sincerely,
Dave Proffitt
The Best By Far
My name is Dominic, I'm 18 and I bought my first real marshall a year ago, a JCM 900 half stack. At the moment My favourite setup is my P-100 loaded les paul through a 1981 4 input JCM 800 through a 1960tv cabinet with greenbacks, if I have to do a modern sounding session I'll usually go for my EMG loaded Explorer through my Marshall 9200. I also have a 2 input JCM 800 combo which coupled with either of my 1979 ibanez roadsters makes for a mad yngwie tone. I like playing neoclassical shred metal and use this setup to annoy all my indie-pop friends. Having tried other amps its fair to say marshall is the only one that doesnt force its sound on to you, you have to make your own sound with it. I like to hear my fingers through the speakers. Cheers, marshall.

Great Team
Here is a picture of my Marshall AS50D amp, and "mini-me" amp! I have had the little amp for a few years, and use it nearly every day! The acoustic amp is new, and is simply the best sounding amp. I've tried all the other brands. This one sounds pure, really realistic, and works well for my gigs! Love it! Works great with my Larrivee guitar, and MXL mic!

Thanks A Million
Greetings from Canada!
From the very first day that I heard the sound of a Marshall amp, I knew that no other maker could come even close to that sweet, fat and loud tone... and that was 11 years ago! My weapon of choice is a Valvestate 8100 head screaming through a homemade 4x10 cab loaded with Celestion G10L-35 speakers. Oh, and don't mind the broken Contour knob, there's a short story behind that! Thanks a million times to Mr. Jim Marshall and his incredible team for making such fine amps!

Nice One Jim
Here is my pride and joy, a 1969/70 Marshall Small Box JMP50 HEAD in mint condition, it has the original Marshall logo’ EL34’s, Marshall Gold stencilled protection cover and no modifications or repairs from new, in fact it is just as it came out of the factory 38 years ago, all original and in mint condition. I have owned this amp for many years, others have come and gone and the JMP remains doesn’t that tell it all about these legendary British amps, I also have a Marshall Guvnor II and this just has to be one the most versatile overdrive pedals ever made, from searing sustained leads with natural overtones to light blues crunch, it does it all.
Nice one Jim.

Happy New Tone
Happy New Year to one and all at Marshall! This is a pic from a gig we played in St Albans (UK) just before Christmas. We never leave home without our trusted Marshall backline – I’m playing rhythm with a Les Paul Classic through a DSL100 Head with a JCM800 4x12 and Lead Guitarist is playing a LP Standard through a TSL100 Head and 1936 Cab. Great tone and Loud as Hell!!! We just need to get our hands on a VBA rig to complete the set!!!
