Hi, I'm Nick and this my Marshall MG100 Full Stack. I'm into Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden and Slayer. Pictured with me is my guitar collection. I've been playing 2 years. Not bad for a 10 year old!!! Long live the METAL.

The Masked Axeman

The Masked Axeman

For the videos, performance and band rehearsal I use a pod 2.0 through the Marshall EL34 100/100 power amp out to a Marshall 2x12. For everyday practice is the same set up but the pod 2.0 into the effects return of the marshall solid state head. I play a PRS McCarty and ESP LTD. Check out the best guitarist in the world from any search engine look for me in the mask.

Rock Heaven!

Rock Heaven!

Hi Marshall Dudes,

Am enclosing a picture of me and my MG half stack on stage with my band Drain during the summer. I tried several amps at the shop incuding some valve ones but it was the MG that matched the sound In my head. Les Paul or an SG through a Marshall.... ROCK HEAVEN!!!!!

Cheers Folks

Then And Now

Then And Now

That was then and this is now. Ya know if i still had those Korina 58 reissue V's i could probably retire. I bought those four years apart in the early eighties when they came out from the House of Guitars.....serial #'s B001(for Black) and C001(for Clear). Sold them to go to college......doh. Hey....... back then you could just buy another one right?!.....yea. Doh.

That is also an Alvarez 6/12 acoustic double neck in the back of the triple stand (1 of 11 made). Echoplex and The kickin' Marshall half stack. That was the last Marshall i had (sold in 87) until this year when i got my DSL100 half stack.

In between Marshalls i went through quite a few amps and a million pedals trying to get this "elusive" sound i had in my head. As it turns out i was trying to emulate my old Marshall......who knew. Your ears never forget even when you brain does.

Here's a quick lesson for all the youngsters out there thinking about which amp to buy.......get it over with and buy the Marshall.....any Marshall. Think they're expensive......they're a bargain compared to the constant gear purchases you will make over time until you get one. (my wife is looking forward to not eating Raman noodles this year)

I only have 4 effect pedals now, a Fulltone wah, Retroman Hioctone germanium fuzz, Retroman KopyKat delay for the loop and a Micro vibe. All true bypass as not to screw with my amps tone when off.

I play only Marshall again........................... and from now on.

Thanks Jim and crew,

D.G.

Keep It Loud, Make You Proud

Keep It Loud, Make You Proud

Hello guys at Marshall!
This is my AVT halfstack, and I can safely say that it is the best low priced, semi valve/solid state amp that I have ever owned or used. It makes me proud to have such a consistent amplifier. Keep making 'em loud!!!
