hi,
this pic attached is me all on my lonesome with the BEST AMP in the world, in my opinion, i own the Marshall JCM2000 Triple Super Lead 100 watt head, and i run it thru the JCM900 1960A 4x12 cab, and my main axe, is a modified ibanez rg7420 7 string.
i have played thru many amps since purchasing my TSL, and nothing has even came close to the sounds that this beast can offer, u can go from a crisp clean tone, to a mind shattering, gut wrenching crunch, this amp has endless gain, i play 7 string guitar, and a lot of other amps sound really muddy with 7 strings, and the low B ends up soundin like S**T!!! but not this bad boy, every note can b heard, and the bottom end is really phat!!! i rate the TSL100 as the best marshall ever made, and, well i recon i aint never gonna need to buy another amp again, coz this is the 1 for me.

This is me with my new MG100hdfx head with the mag412 cabinet. I'm almost 16 and I've already played about 4 gigs with this bad boy in 2 weeks. Of course this is no valve amp, it's a solid state, but it is still amazing! The tone is so great I play this thing for hours everyday! The price was also great. If you cant afford one of those DSL2000 heads or what ever get this one cause it sounds really good still.. I'm amazed with this stack.. Marshall for life.

Thats me playing in my band Angel Lust up there.. we rock your socks off!

Kick Ass!

Kick Ass!

Hey,

Attached is a picture of our band “Monolith” performing in the midlands UK. This was our first gig together, and Man, did we go out in style… 2 Marshall A cabs, 2 TSL heads, a DSL head and a JCM900 Dual reverb. Now that’s style! Not only did we look kickass on stage with our wall of marshall amps, but we sounded kickass too!

Marshall makes the best amps… No Question!

Hi

Black Rose are a Thin Lizzy Tribute band based in the North East of England, Ben Young and Col Dixon play twin lead guitar capturing those Lizzy sounds using excusively Marshall Amplification. Ben uses the ValveState Series Head and Cab with Boss effects. Col uses Marshall DSL and TSL Heads through a 1936 cab with Boss and Digitech effects. Both use Gibson Les Paul classic series guitars, this Gibson - Marshall combination always gives an awesome tone balancing the classic Lizzy sounds with a modern rock feel.

Cheers

Col

Rack It Up!

Rack It Up!

"Thanks to MARSHALL I have one LOUD ass amp with killer crunch and LOADS of distortion! Taken from christian olde wolbers of fear factory, this setup sounds the most like a modifies jcm 800 amp from WAY back in the day! I use a jmp-1 preamp with an el 34 stereo power amp as well as some other goodies but my tone comes from those EL 34'S!! If you've thought about getting some rack gear I can tell you that you CANNOT go without the el 34 stereo power amp. it's simply a must! Not only that but the valve powered pre amp (jmp-1) has excellent tone, one of the best clean channels I have EVER heard, coming in crystal clear. When I flip on that distortion it sacrifices NOTHING in tone and gives me that METAL edge! ROCK ON!"

I've been playing through Marshall amps since 1974! You can ask Adam Day (Marshall Law) (Slash's tech) I gave him his first Rock n' Roll haircut back in the 70's! Yes! that is true! Iv'e got some Killer Marshall Stories including one involving my 1960's 50 watt tremelo small box plexi that was stolen 25 years ago! p.s. I just found it! but the guy won't give it back!!! Without that Marshall sound I would have never played guitar! My Studio in S.F. rents out Marshall Amps and nothing but Marshall Amps for tube guitar amps! (Look for the Sept 2005 issue of Rolling Stone when it hits the news stand!) thats my Marshall JCM 900 1/2 stack That will be on the cover! they wanted a Mesa Boogie?? but I sent 'em a Marshall!!! Hee Hee! Thank you for a Great and Long Life of Tone!!!! Marshall Rules! p.s I just bought another Marshall Cab (2x12) on line as I was writting this Letter! Now that an Obsession! Loyalty! ????/

The Cat's Whiskers

The Cat's Whiskers

Hey people at Marshall. Ive been a Marshall player for many years. Ive owned countless of amps plexis, Jcm-800s and huge variation of combo´s. Ive dabbled with other brands in the past but a few years ago i fell deeply i love with Marshalls again. I just played a Les Paul through a Marshall combo, turned it up ... and woops i was back home. These days i own several amps icluding a 25th ann Combo , a 30th ann combo, a Studio 15´Combo and a complete Jmp-1, Jfx-1 & 100/100 Mono Block set up. But my newest purchase; the kitten "Lars" seems to prefeer the Marshall Jcm-800 4001 Studio 15 combo to any other Marshall.(even though he enjoys sleeping inside the rack case with the Jmp-1 setup). Anyway i tried placing the Jcm-800 25th ann combo in the space that the Studio 15 sits, but the cat keeps following the Studio 15 where ever i place it. So the conclusion ? Young norwegian cats prefers small Marshall combos to anything else.

Too Darn Loud!

Too Darn Loud!

Hey there, this right here is my Marshall JCM 900 4500 Dual Reverb 50 Watt. Trust me....this 50 watt'er is plenty loud, still get complaints from grandma that it's "too darn loud." (I'm sorta glad I didn't get the 4100 100 watt version...haha) The amplifier is perfect for any style of music from blues to rock and anything in between. Pictured here is my SG (the old match of a Marshall and a Gibson) and a Texas Special Strat (for the blues). Thanks Jim and the Team for making the world's first and greatest rock n' roll guitar amplifier!

Sincerely,

100% Pure Rock n' Roll!

100% Pure Rock n' Roll!

Dear Jim,

When I've seen Jimi Hendrix at the Isle of Wight festival in 1970, I instantly felt in love with the sounds of the Marshall amp's. So I bought me my first Marshall...now my passion is to restore, collect and play the JMP 100 Watt Superlead made from '68 to '71. In my opinion these Marshall amp's are the best ever made.

My amp's are in beautiful 100% original condition. The sound is just awesome and endless powerful. It blows you away! I've got a original '63 F*nder Strat and a few G*bson SG's '61 - '63 in original condition too. And I'm a proud owner of some brilliant G*bson Les Pauls. All these guitars really fit to my Marshall amp's! :-) 100% pure Rock n' Roll!

Thanks Jim and all at Marshall amp's!

One thing I like about my Marshall is that when I run my digital effects through it I can turn the volume down and play real low in my room at night with my kids sleeping next door with out losing any quality of sound. (try that with any other 100 watt halfstack)

Also I like the fact that when I turn it up loud (while they are at daycare! ) I don't get any noise even with the volume all the way up on my guitar, standing in front of it. It's quiet then I hit a single chord, BHAM! then it goes to quiet again.

Thanks guys.
