Here is a picture with my band and a fair few marshalls. im the guitarist singer in the middle, and Marshalls help give our band "Monolith" the extra kick to get our songs to sound good, and rolling in our marshall halfstacks gets people in the rooms attention and gets people to listen to us!

It has a sparkle clean to all out mayhem!! Whatever style music I'm in the mood to play, this amp delivers. Thanks Jim for such a great amp!!

Supreme Tone

Supreme Tone

I've had my Marshall 9100 50/50 Power Amp rocking hard for a long time. It's taken several beatings from occasional road wear and tear, and has been through a slight modification of switching the vintage 5881 tubes with EL34 tubes in the second channel. Regardless, it has always come out with shining colors! This amp, as well as all Marshall amps, add a unique ingrediant of tube warmth to any signal. I can't thank you guys enough for the wonderful sound that has backed so many performers from the days of old and well into the modern era of guitar tone. I'm proud to be one of so many happy Marshall Amp users and am ever thankful for the most supreme original tone that I have used for so long to sculpt my sound.

Thanks Marshall!

To Die For!

To Die For!

Hi Guys,

I bought this beauty 'Lead 1930' combo about 19 years ago for £25 GBP, a friend of mine was going back home to Australia and needed the cash ... I didn't really need another amp at the time but wanted to help my friend out ... However, not long after getting the amp, along came marriage, children etc and the amp was put away in the attic of my house, where it has stayed for the past 16 years !! Not any longer though !! ...... It worked straight away, no faults, no creaks, nothing ...... just a sound to die for ....(and as for that tremelo effect, well you know what I mean ...!!)

The assembly sticker indicates a 1971 build, I understand this amp had a limited production run from ' 71 to ' 72, I wonder why ??? I for one can tell you it wasn't because it doesn't sound good .... !!

Brilliant stuff .....!!

Best Regards,

Franc Hughes.

Pure Tone Heaven

Pure Tone Heaven

You gotta love it when you can play a Mashall, but it's pure heaven when you can play through more than one. Here is a family band with my daughter singing, her husband on drums, my friend on bass and two guitars with two Marshall each. I'm using a Plexi and a JCM 900 through a 1936 cab and a 1960AC cab while the other lead player dug up a pair of his Master Volume heads. Why use pedals when you have a Marshall. That's all you need.

Rave On!

Rave On!

I've always played thru Marshall. My 1st was a '1974 Marshall Super lead 100 watt'. That rocked for many years 'til it was stolen in 1984! ARGH! Bummer. I did 'try' other make amps, BUT, was NEVER happy! I searched high and low and FINALLY found my current '1987 Marshall JCM800 100 watt Lead Series Combo'. I perfected this set-up w/'2002 Marshall JCM900 2X12 spk ext. bottom'. I can rock all out at small/large indoor/outdoor gigs! Thanx for makin' the perfect R&R amp!"

Trusty British Workhorse

Trusty British Workhorse

As a teenager I was captivated by the explosively powerful guitar tones of rock music. Seeing these guys play live only impressed me more as the overwhelming feature of rock gigs was the huge wall of sound that just knocked you out. It goes without saying that the weapon of choice in all cases was the Marshall stack. I had to have one and my first serious amp, which is still my most used amp today, was a JCM800 2203 100watt master volume. Over the years my friends have bought a fair number of Marshalls and with each new arrival, almost as a rite of passage, we run it in a back-to-back test with our other Marshalls.

As you might imagine this is not a chore. A our collection builds, more friends come and the jams last longer. The excuses get weaker and weaker and, these days all it takes to round up the collection is the purchase of a new pickup for the ever increasing collection of Les Pauls or Teles.

I would just like to add my thanks to Marshall for consistently producing such high quality amps, and setting the standard against which all others are judged, and in our opinion, are found wanting.

Regards and Respect

Prized Possessions

Prized Possessions

Here's pic of my prized possessions. Serial number is 20171, which I understand places her a pre 69 as the letter code A started then. Given its a JMP I think I can narrow it down between 67 and 69, but would really love to able to accurately date her. I don't have a footswitch, but am trying to locate one. Whilst the master volume is a mod, I am pretty sure it has been installed right. The sound this amp produces is absolutely amazing, I have had her for 10 years or so and remember when playing her in my bedroom at mums, the windows rattled, things fell off the dresser, I was really surprised the windows didn't blow :-)

Hello, my name is Wayne Boruff and I'm in a band called Pick Up The Snake from Knoxville, TN. I've been playing guitar for about 7 or 8 years now. I now own 3 Marshall JCM800 2203s, a Marshall JCM800 2205 and 6 Marshall 1960b cabs. I just wanted to say thanks for making the best amps money can buy and I know that my Marshalls will stand the test of time
