HOW DO THE RE-ISSUED MARSHALL PRODUCTS MATCH TO THE ORIGINAL IN TERMS OF SOUND AND QUALITY?
All re-issued product take into account modern day constraints and regulations, but are designed to match the originals in looks, quality and sound.
What style of circuit board is used in the re-issue amplifiers and combos?
Some re-issued amplifiers use the old style ST 1 PCB while others use ‘point to point’ circuit board. If you contact your dealer they will be able to tell you what kind of boards are used in the product that interests you.
What type of speakers are used in the re-issue combos and cabinets?
We work closely with Celestion on speakers for our re-issues. Celestion produces speakers that use modern day components that sound and look as closely as possible to the originals.
Why did Marshall decide to re-issue some of their products?
Products are chosen for re-issue based on the feedback and demand back we receive from our customers and dealers from around the world.
Are re-issues limited edition? Is so how many are produced?
Certain models have been made as limited runs, for example only 600 Super100JH Hendrix Stacks where produced. If you are interested in a specific model your dealer will be able to find out this information for you.
Do you have any plans to re-issue any other models?
We have a on going programme in our Research & Development department to look at the market place and listen to our customers and dealers views. Our decision on which units to re-issue are based on this information.
